BAMUL, a constituent of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) and one of India's leading dairy cooperatives operating under the Nandini brand, processes approximately 2.3 million liters of milk per day and supports thousands of dairy farmers across the state.
The ANDRITZ scope of supply includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 500 t/d cattle feed pelleting plant together with two 5,000-ton grain storage silos on an EPC basis. The facility has been designed with provision for further future expansion.
The project builds on ANDRITZ's successful track record with KMF, for which ANDRITZ has previously delivered four cattle feed plants. Together, these facilities currently support the production of approximately 45,000 tons of cattle feed pellets per month across Karnataka. The new BAMUL plant will further expand feed production capacity and help meet increasing demand from the dairy farming community.
"We are delighted to continue our collaboration with the Karnataka Milk Federation through this important project for BAMUL," says Pavan Pawar, Vice President of Sales, ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel.
"The new facility will help strengthen feed availability for dairy farmers while providing BAMUL with efficient and reliable feed production capacity.”
